With that being said, we only really like to highlight volunteer opportunities (or Voluntunities, if you will) when the position is unique and exciting. Today’s position falls into that category: it’s with Architecture for Humanity as a volunteer writer.

Architecture for Humanity is a non-profit organization that leverages a vast network of design professionals to come up with tangible solutions for communities across the globe. Candidates should possess: good research and interview skills, enthusiastic approach, in addition to technical writing and storytelling abilities. They’re looking for someone with an interest in humanitarian design who can make a commitment of at least 3 months.

This is a excellent chance to further refine your writing craft while working for an organization that strives to make an impact. It’s unclear whether or not they might offer class credits or a stipend.
