Alright, no more internships (for a while, anyways); let’s get paid! Today, we’ve got an opening with Environment Canada in Gatineau, Quebec, for a Science and Technology Policy Analyst. The salary range for this position is between $58,137 and $67,486.

Environment Canada’s mandate is to protect and conserve the country’s national heritage, in addition to keeping the general public informed on the weather and environmental predictions.

A university degree is a prerequisite for this position; ideally they are seeking someone with a background in economics, sociology, or statistics. Two essential areas of experience for the position are: conducting policy research and analysis; and preparing briefing documents. The role of the Policy Analyst involves working as part of a team to provide recommendations to enhance the connections between the environmental science and policy.
