Explorica enables teachers to create educational tours that are replete with opportunities for learning and discovering the world. They pride themselves on customer satisfaction, from the moment the tour is arranged until the airplane returns. Through their different packages, Explorica connects teachers and students with new cultures, languages, and people, with the hope of creating a love for travel. Their mission is to create a more informed global citizenry, that values the richness of other cultures.

Responsibilities: build long-term and lasting relationships with teachers; listen to customer’s needs and make travel recommendations; make existing clients aware of packages that the company offers; prospect new clients over the telephone.

What they’re looking for: someone with excellent prospecting skills and the ability to prioritize; excellent writing, speaking, and organizational skills; university or college degree; strong customer focus and excellent customer service skills; ability and motivation to make 40+ contacts daily (expect 3-4 hrs per day on the phone with teachers); passion for travel.

Explorica is a young company with a causal dress policy. This is a fantastic entry way into a dynamic company and industry! The salary range for the position is between $30,000 and $35,000 plus a structured commission plan to reward performance. In addition, they offer benefits and a generous vacation plan.
