London 2012 Olympics – Content Coordinator in Canary Wharf!

Today’s position: The London Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) is recruiting a Content Coordinator in Canary Wharf, London!

The role: support the development of online and print content to high standards and tight deadlines. The post-older will have strong all-round editorial skills, experience of writing and producing e-communications, and be confident when managing content for the web.


· Help keep the London 2012 website and extranets up to date; writing, editing and uploading content.

· Help to write and produce e-communications across a range of subject areas.

· Support the team in editing and writing content for LOCOG’s publications.

· Help with sourcing relevant and compelling imagery.

· Be a guardian of the London 2012 editorial style and ensure all materials reflect the brand accurately.

· Ensure all content delivers consistent messages that fit within LOCOG’s overall communications plan.

What they’re looking for:

· Experience of writing and managing content for the web, including use of content management systems.

· Experience of writing and producing e-communications.

· Strong copywriting, editing and proofreading skills.

· Ability to manage a demanding and varied workload.

· Excellent computer literacy.

· Knowledge of photography, typography, design and production processes useful.

· Enthusiasm for communicating the vision of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

· Displays the highest levels of integrity and commitment.

· Demonstrates an ability to deliver excellent results.

· Demonstrates enjoyment in their work.

· Resilient and positive through change.

· Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic environment.

· Team player who can also work on own initiative.
