Today’s position: DemonWare is looking for a Project Manager for their Vancouver office!

The Project Manager will work with the company’s directors and executive management to ensure the smooth running of all internal company teams and projects.

The right candidate will get to join a growing team working in a fun and challenging environment. They will be expected to be very well organized and have a proven ability to organize others in a dynamic and complex environment. A suitable candidate will also have knowledge of the challenges that managing teams across multiple time zones can present.


·Work with the senior management team to create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

·Work with the operations team to create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.

·Identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities.

·Review deliverables prepared by teams before passing to clients.

·Effectively apply DemonWare methodology and enforce project standards.

·Minimize DemonWare’s exposure and risk.

·Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

·Assist executive team with planning and implementation of future projects and identifying resource requirements

·Assist executive team with planning and forecasting of the annual budget.

·Assist in scheduling projects, keeping team on-task, projecting milestones & deliverables to spec.

What they’re looking for: 3+ years PM experience in a similar role; organized self-starter willing to assume responsibility for some aspects of projects under their supervision; attention to detail, timely follow-up & strong organizational skills; excellent communication & problem solving skills; positive, professional attitude & strong interpersonal skills; strong time management with ability to focus on priorities & risk assessment; ability to fit into a dynamic, creative team environment; client and stakeholder-facing; a willingness & ability to learn is essential; a willingness to travel; ability to adapt quickly to change and be able to rework complex project plans at short notice due to changes in scope; good sense of humor; experience in services, data centers or video game development a plus.
