eHow – Freelance Writer!

Posted on January 9, 2011

Today’s position: The online how-to guide, e-How, welcomes applications from freelance writers with expertise in a particular area or field.

eHow writers are a diverse bunch, but generally speaking, successful applicants have at least one of the following: College degree in Journalism or related field, writing or Journalism experience, or overall expertise in a certain area (e.g. health, automotive, travel, etc…).

The eHow pay structure is determined by the type of article that you write. You can claim an assignment in their database and the hourly rate will be indicated on the assignment; generally, most writers earn between $15-20 per hour for these assignments. You can also choose to write on topics that you suggest; these types of submissions are paid on a revenue share basis. Regardless of the type of article that you publish, payment is issued once every two weeks through PayPal.

You can apply by filling out the application, attaching your CV and some current writing samples (published or unpublished).
