RainSaucers – Summer Internship

RainSaucers is accepting applications for an Internship opportunity available this summer in Guatemala.

Responsibilities and project timeline: travel to Quetzaltenango, Guatemala in June 2011 with RainSaucers units as check-in luggage; leverage Alterna to establish base of operations; acquire locally all necessary barrels, piping, and materials; assemble completed RainSaucers systems; install units at consenting residential and agricultural locations; take pictures (and video) of installed units and end user reactions; provide weekly status updates and captured multimedia; conduct ad-hoc R&D to address end user requests; conclude project in August 2011 with Summary report to Alterna and RainSaucers.

What they’re looking for: Spanish capability; experience working with PVC and performing basic plumbing tasks; experience traveling to developing countries; must own laptop and digital camera with video capability.
